Since I've been rejecting a good few memberships lately, here's something to bring to your attention:

If you haven't applied in this post, your membership WILL be rejected.

You need to be a member to see the contents in this comm. If you are watching the community and wondering why this is the first post you have seen from it, THIS IS THE REASON WHY.

Both of these aren't punishable by permanent ban, you guys!! If your membership was rejected, it simply meant you didn't bother to read the rules. So just read the rules and re-apply easy peachy!

The rest of you can continue on with your original programming.

This community is a brainstorming archive for original ideas, plots, and characters by halcyonjazz and moonsheen, created separately or by collaboration (95% of the time it is the latter). Because of this, the contents of this community are viewable to members-only. This is mainly to protect us from thefts of ideas and content while still allowing us to share our stories with an audience.

A lot of material created and posted to this comm may contain adult content inappropriate for readers under 18. We are not going to ask for age-confirmation, but don't go telling us if you are under 18 either.

Please read the rules carefully if you wish to join.

the R U L E S

DO NOT REPOST OR ALTER THE CONTENT FOUND IN THIS COMMUNITY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. No copy/pasting snippets to your friends, no hotlinking, nothing.

The only ones who can repost art, fic, or any content found in this comm are the maintainers. Both halcyonjazz and moonsheen may crosspost to their own journals at their own discretion, but this does not in any way imply amendments to the first rule for the audience.

Add this community to your friends list. It's a way to keep tabs on people who are actually watching, and not just using a journal as means to gain entry. You don't have to comment, but just make sure it's friended.

If you want to become a member:

FOLLOW THE RULES. Anyone caught violating any one of them will be cut immediately without notice.

Use comprehensible English, please. No l33t speak or use of abundant text shorthands.

Leave a comment answering following information:
1. How did you find this community?
2. Why would you like to be added?
3. If this is not your regular journal (e.g. you use LJ just for comment/f-list purposes), please provide a link or links to your other journals or sites.

Please click "join this community" on the info page after applying. We send out invites but LiveJournal doesn't always have them delivered. Approving directly is much easier.

Lastly, the maintainers can refuse to add members as they see fit. Chances are if you are refused membership, it is because they missed a step in the above instructions (in which case, just re-apply), but we are under no obligation to add anyone.
